I spent three nights at Areaone Hotel in Fukuyama, and it was a pleasant experience considering the price. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although a bit small, and the breakfast selection was surprisingly good. The location was convenient, just a few minutes walk from the train station, but changing rooms for my last night was a small hassle.
